About
Arshad Aijaz has Graduated with M.Sc. degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Lucknow University and completed Ph.D. in Inorganic chemistry from IIT Kanpur under the supervision of Prof. Parimal K. Bharadwaj. Thereafter he moved to AIST Osaka Japan and worked with Prof. Qiang Xu as a post-doctoral Fellow (2011-2014), Later he joined Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany with Prof. Martin Muhler​ for second post-doctoral Research (2015-2017). In May 2017 he started his independent research carrier as an Assistant Professor at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology-Jais, Amethi.

His research work focussed on the design and synthesis of MOFs, MOF-derived nanostructured materials, single atom catalysts, HER/OER/ORR/CO2RR/NRR for the production of sustainable energy (water electrolyzer, batteries, and fuel cells) and organic transformation reactions.
